Jessup Media, an advertising and marketing company based in Irvine, has signed an exclusive deal with software house MyPrint Corporation, who develop solutions for for producing and distributing marketing collateral.
The licensing agreement will enable clients of Jessup Media to create personalized marketing collateral online.

Experts from industry and academia convened last month at a high-performance computing summit to discuss how technology and the scientific principles behind it can be integrated into software applications that provide a much fuller picture.

Meeting customer software licensing demands can be seen in terms of two main parameters: product flexibility and business flexibility. Product flexibility refers to the ability to offer customer-specific solutions: a professional SKU for one customer, a basic SKU for another, a demo version, and so on. Business flexibility refers to the ability to offer specific terms for particular clients, including special terms for a very large client, and pay-per-use terms. Microsoft addresses these parameters with a concept it calls SKU agility.
Siemens AG has signed a licensing agreement with Airbiquity Inc, a supplier of software solutions that utilize wireless data communications, under which Siemens will purchase its aqLink software technology.

Does anyone understand what Steve Jobs is doing?
To celebrate the launch of the 3.1 version of Safari, Apple’s web browser, the company has been offering it to Windows users via the software update tool that accompanies iTunes and Quicktime. However, a close look at the license agreement shows that users are only allowed to install the browser on a “single Apple labeled computer at a time.” The contract clause clearly makes no sense.
